Would it be a lap or an under?Posted by zach in Blogs, Personal Favorites, Pets, humor, sara, tags: cinza, humor, saraSara hates cats. We have a cat because I love cats. They’re so easy. Ignore them, give them love, feed them, don’t feed them, whatever you do they’ll still dislike you. Unless you are allergic to them, then they’ll love you to death. A common phrase in my house is “my eyes are so itchy.” Not my eyes though, because since I am not allergic Cinza does not want to sit in my lap. Or as she perceives it, her under. Cinza’s favorite under is Sara. Here are some photos: Here’s a good shot of Cinza getting real comfortable at Sara’s discomfort. Now she’s getting in there real deep, rubbing her face all over Sara’s hands. She knows what she’s doing, she plays it real cool pretending to love Sara. I know though that later Sara is going to touch her face and spend hours complaining about “that damned cat.” In this photo, you can see that Sara has finally given in to the cat lap. She’s pleading with me to help her, but I consider cat lap to be a precious commodity and would never take such an important thing from her. Some day Sara will learn to agree. Someday.

Reclaiming the Rooms.Posted by zach in Blogs, Building, Pets, Self Satisfaction, tags: birds, cinza, remodelingLast year my little brother moved in with me. He had his girlfriend living with him. I enjoyed their company and wanted them to stay. In an effort to win them as long term guest I remodeled one of the rooms in my house and let them pick the colors. Here are the before photos: As you can see, the rooms started out absolutely awful. Not my fault, we were not the pigs who lived like this, that was the previous renters. You can imagine our hope for some stable renters. I cleaned the room and set to making it lovely for my brother. It took me a few weeks and vuala. Here are the after photos: My brother didn’t last long however, and Sara’s niece moved in with her husband and two kids. They just moved out and I cleaned the room up nice intending to keep it for my self this time. Unfortunately My cat Cinza has already claimed the room as her own, christening the room with a blood sacrifice: Poor bastard didn’t even stand a chance. |
