Stargate Continuum… The last installment in the Stargate SG1 series.
I watched it last night.
Now what do I do?
You have to understand, I’m one of these guys who says “come on, who cares about that show, lets go play a round of Frolf.” (Golfing with frizbees).
In fact, I’m that guy who is always bragging about not having a television.
I have to admit it though… Stargate SG1 is my favorite show ever-ever!
In fact, watching it has become one of my favorite things to do… it’s sick, I know.
How did I watch it without a television? Easy, the internet. Until my niece and nephew lived with me, I had no idea you could watch shows online for free. I watched the entire series on Tudou. Of course Tudou is hosted in some country lying within Greater Asia (so you can’t read a damn thing.) Everyone links to it though. For instance, you can watch the entire series linked through piggymoo.
Plus there is a picture of Samantha Carter (Amanda… um… Amanda Something or Other) in almost nude, draped in an American Flag… I bet the Boy Scouts can’t wait to retire that flag!
It’s amazing what crafty Martha Stewartish people think to do with American Flags.
Anyway, watching Stargate has been Sara and my date night activity for a long time now, and even Archimedes is into the series. “Watcha Gate? Watcha Gate?” he says.
T.V. is addictive, I figured if I could just kick the series I could get back to “useful things” like making art. Instead all I want is another fix man, another show!
Everyone is telling me that Battlestar Galactica is awesome. We watched the pilot… Bit boring, too much book of mormon stuff in it.
Any suggestions?

The actual Battlestar series is better than the pilot, should watch all of season 1 then decide if you don’t like it. I love it
Batllestar Galactica is pretty darn fun so far. Though, all the women being called “sir” irks the frack out of me!! I got over it and am nearly halfway through season 2. It is not as good as the SG franchise, but it is better than any of the other ones that I have seen. I think I have watched at least part of every futuristic space sci-fi shows. I would say that this is better than most Start Trek shows, but I prefer Stargate anything. Watched a bunch of Farscape, and that show sucks. The only good thing about it is that they deal with the language problem. I really liked that, because that is one thing that really bothers me about sci-fi space series…. I am looking forward to the Star Wars series that is coming in 2012? I believe.
